Ideal on soup, pasta, risotto, grilled, barbecued and cooked vegetables, smoked salmon, roast, grilled or boiled meat, boiled potatoes, chips (French fries), fish, cheese, salami and ham, vanilla ice cream, yoghurt, fruit salad, dark chocolate. It is a very nice after-dinner when taken on a spoon at the end of the meal, for its digestive properties. Aged in wood barrels, it has been through 20 transfers of barrels (one per year).
